Our guinea pigs are bred on a small scale at a farm and are not the product of rodent mills. We insist our guinea pigs are all sold in at least pairs, if not small groups: we will only let individual guinea pigs go if they are joining an existing herd or lone pig. We have some beautiful coat varieties, colours and patterns and heaps of different personalities!
We recommend the MINIMUM enclosure for 2 female guinea pigs to be 1.5m x 0.5m. Our recommendation is always that your guinea pigs are given as large an area as possible using pens or C&C grids. Ideally a conventional cage should only be used in conjunction with lots of safe free-roam space.
As guinea pigs are very sensitive and require a lot of cleaning and maintenance, we don't recommend them as pets for young children.
